Al Gore And Hillary Clinton |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-23-07 03:24 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
Al Gore always struck me as a benign political figure...He did once say conservatives had an extra chromosome or deficient chromosome or something like that. But the Rethuglicans pretty much turned him into a joke during the 00 election... I remember going into a CNN chat room after a discussion of the 00 race and Rethuglicans were going " I invented the internet" and then one would say "I invented sex" to mock Al Gore... If they could try to turn a benign figure like Al Gore into a joke what makes you think they won't try to do that to any of our candidates...It's not to hard to imagine what they have planned for Barack Obama or John Edwards...
The main reason I'm supporting Hillary Clinton is because she knows how to fight and likes to fight...Oh , fighting is not only calling your opponent names...It's about knowing when to fight and not to fight...It's about coming up with a strategy, executing it, and winning in the end...Revenge is a dish best served cold...
Baron Von Clausewitz said "war is the continuation of politics by other means"...Well, politics is war by more or less peaceful means...

1. They will go after anybody |
|
I really don't understand DUers who don't see that. None of our candidates would be immune if they won the nom. None.

|
risk and ours..I fear one day if she gets elected you will wake up and say what was I thinking..I can see it very clear now that very little will change if she and the dlc are running this thing..but again I think maybe we do not have a choice anymore (if we ever did)..

4. Was It That Bad During The Clinton Administration? |
|
He gave us NAFTA...I know it's hated here but at the time a lot of liberals supported it because they thought it would help us Mexico, and Canada...
He gave us relative peace and relative prosperity... And at least when he kicked a dictator's ass (Milosevic} he didn't do it at the cost of 1,000,000 lives, 2,000,000 displaced persons and tens and tens of billions of dollars wasted...
Everything in life is relative...Compared to what preceded and succeeded him Clinton was a prince...

5. We all "think" that we see things better than everyone else...... |
|
However, that doesn't mean that we actually do.
You have convinced yourself of what you write, but that doesn't make what you write convincing.
Different people who also believe to see things as clearly as you do have a different opinion from yours as to what Sen. Clinton will do if she is able to win the White House....and what that will mean.
In other words, you need a better argument than what you have presented, because this one isn't quite doing it.
