Funny crap - DLC is unwelcome in the "big tent", but bigots are invited with concerts.... |
|
and open dialog. Once again...thank god I'm not a "liberal" or a "progressive"

If you're not a liberal or a progressive, just how do you style yourself?

5. Actually, political propaganda aside, I consider Obama, |
|
based on his record and plans, to be a really great fit with the dlc/3rd way crowd. He just doesn't wear the label. I certainly don't consider him "liberal" or "progressive."

Whether you like them or not the DLC are socially liberal and fiscally moderate or market oriented... The Blue Dogs are socially conservative and economically populist...That being said I don't think the DLC would exploit the homophobia of some members of the Democratic electorate...

9. I was referring to Obama's positions on issues, not McClurkin. |
|
I don't find the dlc socially liberal in the least, either.
While Obama is not officially dlc, I find his platform to be a cozy fit with the dlc, myself.

11. The Chairman of the DLC voted FOR the Constitutional Amendment banning Gay Marriage... |
|
Not once, but twice, and this is AFTER he told his GBLT constituents that he was against the Amendment. So not only is he a bigot, but a two faced lying bigot at that.

10. Cool then, why don't you go back to where DLC is welcome with open arms |
|
You know, the Republican party. I'm tired of having my party taken over by stealth 'Pugs and corporatists trying to masquerade as Dems. It is disgusting, disingenous and has perhaps fatally harmed the party.

12. DLC welcomes bigots too, just an FYI, Ford, the Chairman, voted for banning Gay marriage in the... |
|
Constitution. He's as much a bigot as any other homophobe.

14. Democratic party ≠ Obama's campaign. |

This isn't even a good strawman. Try harder.
