It's Official. Hillary Files her Candidacy for President of the USA and the NH Primary

She's something else in person, isn't she? I had the pleasure of first getting to know her in 2000 during her first Senate race and she surprised me not only with her being super-smart, but also with how sincere and caring and interested in others she is. Not at all the calculating, heartless ogre people make her out to be.

I can't imagine the unshakable sense of self ANY candidate -- let alone one with the bulls-eye on his or her back -- would have to have to endure the very personal and cruel slings and arrows of a political campaign.

It seems that everyone who sees her in person comes away with the same thoughts. We get it all the time when we canvass or talk with people at events.

Typical is. "She seems really nice and truly concerned, but I expected her to be mean".

My little group had an unwritten rule.

Don't shit on "happy threads" about another candidate.

I think there are more than enough threads for you to bash Hillary or whoever you want to go at. Let supporters have a few threads to celebrate little things like this without it turning into a flamefest. We have more than enough of that and this sort of behavior will make it worse for everyone.

I love birds, I've got Finches as well, I've had Finches ever since I was a small child....the Lovebirds are pretty fab, real characters as well!
