1. I think Obama is the best with these one-on-one kinds of interviews |
|
He is the most personable and likable of all the candidates.

4. Yes, as a commenter on the debate said, Obama's style is more the college |
|
law prof (which he is, natch) as opposed to Edwards's trial lawyer style.
He does VERY well in other venues (than debates). He does well in the debates, too, but they don't showcase his strengths as much.

He is genuine when he speaks one on one, like a real person, no bullshit parsing.
That is a rare quality for a politician to have. I've always said the man has enormous political gifts, the kind you can't learn, you are just born with them.

Coming home at night to turn on your tv to listen to a President who can speak like this. Just imagine.

16. It reminds me of an old Saturday Night bit |
|
With John Lovitz as Dukakis vs. Bush Sr.
"Do you trust the judgment of a man who traded arms to the Ayatollah and used that money to fund an illegal war in Central America? Or do you trust a son of a Greek immigrant who can think and talk in complete sentences?"
:D

13. Good point - I can't imagine the pressure of being on stage in one of those |
|
debates, although his "real person" self does come through a lot. And I agree that he's a natural.
We're both obviously VERY wise people! :7

It's like feeding seagulls isn't it? One shows up , and pretty soon, you're being attacked by a flock with lots of squawking and shit flying everywhere.

9. Everyone gets a puff piece |
|
And you would be happy if it was your candidate getting it.
Honestly, everyone wants to see a candidate just talking and having a conversation without it being a death match battle. That is how people get a sense of them as a person, not just a candidate.

14. It's a series entitled "Who Is?" |
|
It's intention is to do a series of puff pieces to let people get to know the candidates on a personal level. They'll do, or have done, a puff piece on everybody else too.
