Is Craig Crawford just another Hillary supporter?
Edited on Sat Nov-03-07 01:00 PM by itsrobert
Every time I watch him on MSNBC he's usually full out for Hillary. I can only surmise he is part of the Hillary Campaign. But there are no disclaimers about that when he's trashing Obama, Edwards, and Biden while giving Hillary a pass. Does anyone know if he's connected to the Hillary campaign in anyway?

3. He does nothing but shrill for Hillary
Hard to believe he's not on her payroll. Maybe General Electric is trying to push Hillary on us because she's good for defense contractors?

Or are you against that?

17. Maybe Chris Matthews & Tim Russert could set an example by confessing
their hatred for Hillary.

6. Yes. Tweety mentioned it yesterday on his show in response to Craig saying something
negative about Obama after Matthews showed video of Obama workin' the crowd/audience. He accused Obama of having a fake accent.

9. That "fake accent" comment floored me.
Midwestern, Wellesley-educated Sen. Clinton delivering lyrics with a Southern drawl seems sort of fake to me.

Obama talking to fellow African-Americans in cadences familiar to them and him sounded natural.

Seemed like he was talking to his "homies".

It would be more like Hillary reverting to a really strong "flat A" when speaking in the midwest.

13. Same here...
It floored Matthews, to, because he pointed out the same thing, saying he, a Clinton fan, had no room to talk about someone having a fake accent. That was ONE of the times he made it clear that Crawford was a Hillary supporter.

Yes, Obama is used to talking that way in that setting. It's natural for him.

Yes, it is natural.

19. I'm from California, but when I'm around different groups
I start mimicking (for lack of a better word) them. I sometimes get ask if I'm from the South, because of the accent. I also spent time in England and started speaking like I grew up there after awhile.

25. I remember that thread. And yes, it's natural. My mother was born in London
and spoke "the Queen's English." She came to the U.S. when she was 12 and eventually lost her accent, but when she talked to her mother who still has a heavy English accent, she starts getting her accent back.

23. Yes. Do you think preachers always talk the same way when they're not preaching?
It's natural for people who are used to talking in front of different audiences to adapt the accent or cadence to that situation. As long as he's always done that, it's natural for him. Unlike people who change things based on negative feedback, he keeps doing it because it's real.

8. Yes.
Chris Matthews said so a few times during Friday's roundtable broadcast and Crawford didn't deny it.

Not that there is anything wrong with being a Hillary supporter, of course, but there should be a
semblance of critical balance among the MSM supporters of any candidate.

He has been fairly objective until now. I remember him saying that he doesn't vote so he can remain objective. It looks like he may have changed his mind on that.

12. Crawford is great. I usually enjoy listening to him
Down to earth, insightful and is adorable when talking about his parents.

He used to show pictures of them and talk about his mom trying to stop
Wallyworld from moving in her Orlando neighborhood.

Check out his blog

He seems like a good guy. Worked for Carter and Mondale, ran for office as a Democrat, not a fake Democrat like Margaret Carlson etc., so I guess he's prime fodder for a DU attack

Although I was disappointed in the way he was defending Imus on Olbermann. I couldn't believe it. I decided to disagree with him on that. That's what you have to do in this situation.
