1. Don't let Ron Raul snow you over. |
|
He is tricking you. He is not *good* for America, as so many claim.
The farthest I can go is that he is good for the repubs. That's it.

3. Paul isn't getting any corporate cash at all |
|
Edited on Tue Nov-06-07 08:04 AM by Silverbug
He's in favor of eliminating all corporate subsidies, tarrifs, and special favors...no more government contracts...no more corporate welfare. They'll have to fend for themselves, rely on consumers to voluntarily buy their products.. This means *gasp* more COMPETETION!..and the big corps don't like that idea at all.

video of Paul talking about Dennis Kucinich. He had kind words to say. Not that he agreed with him on most issues. But, he knows an honest face when he sees one.

9. Paul is a right wing ati-government extremist |
|
Just because he agrees with Dems on a couple of issues, does not make him an admirable politican - he's much closerto Grover Nordquist than he'll ever be to us!

Why do some (*ahem*) Obama supporters believe that every post by a Hillary supporter is somehow an attack on them?

they think you're objecting to them.
Good to hear you don't think I'm anti-road, Lirwin. I take back the humorless part. And you're only slightly more annoying than me so we're about even.

Apparently DU is home to a sizable contingent of crazy-ass right-wingers.

|
Ever look at the News and Politics category at YouTube (highest rated, etc.)? What do we miss on there because the pages are blanketed with Ron Paul videos? Sometimes, Olbermann videos barely surface -- ditto those from major candidates.

28. My favorite expression to track politicians. |
|
Follow the money. Or rather , follow their money. Not saying necessarily this is the case with Ron Paul. But, sometimes, I say, I 'd vote for someone I don't agree with rather than someone I agree with but find corrupt. It could apply to certain breeds of Democrats. Follow the money. What you see following this strategy, is what you get.
