Who is behind the anti-Clinton mass email smear campaign?
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/personalities/hillary-clinton/

Clinton "refused repeated requests to meet with the Gold Star Mothers."
(She has met with them four times, email smear not true at all)

"The Clintons now charge the Secret Service $10,000 monthly rent for the use of (a) Secret Service residence and that rent is just about equal to their mortgage payment."
(The Clintons don't receive money from Secret Service, email smear not true at all)

---------
Both the far right and far left hate Hillary, but who would stoop this low?

and have a decent chance of being right.

9. Nobody is asking you to "make nice"
I'm asking you to not act like other candidates aren't dealing with the same email smears. Its a part of doing business. Get over it.

5. Perhaps someone is deliberately circulating obviously false accusations...
... in order to undermine and discredit to true ones.

7. Yep, they were done to Gore and Kerry, too. Sometimes they
just take the same story and just change the Democrat's name. The only way to stop this stuff is with time, and a younger generation that is savvy enough to know you don't believe an urban legend e-mail.

8. These are
at least 4 years old and resurfacing. I have somebody who sends me this stuff all the time. I used to send the snopes debunk using the "reply all" but I've stopped getting angry about it. RWingnuts have to lie. The only way they can make their case is to lie. That's it. If idiots believe that stuff, it's their own lookout.

14. They don't want her to win and the only way they can stop her
is try to start these flaming and lying attacks and/or steal another election. The republicans, because Bill Clinton was so popular and still is and the two bushes are less than dirt, are still spittle spitting jealous of them and will continue to lie about anything about her.

But one thing, if Obama or Edwards had a chance to get the nomination they would start on them.

15. Probably Republicans, not Democratic opponents
I know the "gold star mother" lie has been around a long time, and debunked by Snopes. Since it's old, I'm guessing it started with Republicans.

(Having said that, supporters of other Democrats might revive some of these things, who knows?)

16. never ever doubt the covert hands of one GEORGE HERBERT WALKER BUSH who promised to give
Hillary "hell" if she ran for the presidency of the U.S., and reiterated it in this recent exchange with Chris Wallace of Fox News

"WALLACE; I can't let this opportunity pass without talking a little about politics with you.
GHWB: gO ahead.

WALLACE: Do you agree with your son that Hillary Clinton is going to win the Democratic nomination? and Why, as you said in Japan--and I'm going to clean this up slightly--are you going to try to beat the heck out of her?

GHWBUSH I'm trying to remember if I said that. I don remember using the word "heck."

Of course not. he knew damn well that he had used the word hell he had said he was going to give Hillary hell if she ran for the presidency...

and this brings to mind how he also promised to kick ass when Geraldine Ferraro was going to be Walter Mondale's VP.

I mean ... people take Imus and others off the air for using the N word... and this man, this bush man ... gets away with, and is celebrated for, making images of violence against women and has done it more than once ... and then he chuckles about it,as he and Chris Wallace did over the Heck/Hell word substitution.
