I find that very disconcerting and annoying.

Why didn't he show this passion when he was campaigning for Kerry. I wonder if he used Kerry to get his own personal message and name out?
Maybe he really deep down didn't want Kerry to win so he could run for President today. Nasty thought... :spank: but possible. Now he's fighting back the tears. Now he's bring up his wife's breast cancer. Oh my!

98. Me thinks not. They are all patiently waiting for Obama .
They are also waiting for Hillary to say something they can chat/cat about for the next two weeks and drive her poll numbers down so they can be sure to have a horse race! They'll find plenty of fodder!

I like what Richardson said about not killing each other in this campaign.

Richardson is not a very good speaker...so I don't think he'll be picked for VP.

123. Hate to poop the party, but...
This dinner is a sham without Kucinich and even Mike Gravel. They are running, and they ought to have a chance to speak. I know there are some who think Gravel and perhaps even Kucinich are "not serious candidates," but that's simply a matter of opinion. Is this democracy or isn't it? If it is, then let's hear all the options.

124. I agree about Kucinich
I don't think you can truly determine who is serious and who isn't until people start voting. I do think that candidates should drop out once they lose a few primaries in a row. It helps clarify things for voters.

128. How about Aaron, Aranjo, Ashe, Ballard, Gerasmios, Boyer, etc.?
There are over 40 announced Democratic candidates. I can't blame the Iowa party for restricting it to candidates they thought were "serious."

It was a matter of opinion to exclude, say, Wrendo Johnson P. Godwin, whoever the hell he is. I wouldn't put Kucinich in the same category, of course, because he is a US Congressman, but it is a matter of opinion to use that as a criterion.
