Obama Supporters - so what do you think it will take to give him the nudge he needs to win? |
|
Just throwing this out there...
FTR, I'm leaning in a multitude of directions. I don't mind Clinton, like Obama, think DK rocks, wouldn't mind Biden leading the nation, would trust Richardson most, like Dodd's social liberal stances, and even would love to see Gravel in the WH.

1. He should try not pissing off just about every liberal constituency. |
|
Non-religious? Check. GLBT? Check. Boomers? Check.
Who's next? Or will he figure it out and stop embracing right-wing distortions of liberals?

Let's just say the presidency was up to a game of poker between only the Democratic candidates - could anything go wrong?

5. Well, it's not a poker game. |
|
And despite the disarray on the Republican side, the general election is anything but a given. I will support the Democratic nominee no matter who it is, but the things Obama has said have really, really pissed me off.

4. Given Obama's election support for Lieberman - perhaps he buys Joe's view of the "extreme left |
|
activists on the internet"???? and how that means one must govern from a "middle" that ignores those on "the extreme left" ??????

3. From a REAL Obama supporter: I think he should continue to do what he's doing. |
|
He had 2 pretty good weeks and he's drawing distinctions between himself and Clinton. He's also telling Iowans how he will do better in a general election than the other candidates.

13. He's doing exactly what he needs to do...starting in the last debate and |
|
continuing with the JJ speech. They're ALL talking about Obama today, showing his speech, showing clips of him on MTP yesterday, and comparing him to Kennedy and MLK. They're all saying this speech may very well have been the turning point, closing the gap, giving the country hope again, etc.
