Who will get an extra boost from tonight's performance in Iowa?
Obama? Hill? Edwards? Biden? None of them? Tell us what you think.

10. Oh please. That's just your wishful thinking. How did she "flounder" in her speech tonight?
If you're going to write check, make sure you the funds are available. In other words, back up your statement with FACT, if you can. I'm guessing you can't.

4. If you're just talking Iowa, I'd say None.
Like DU, most Iowans aren't going to be moved by one night of stump speeches.

5. The top 3 were the top 3 tonight
Obama, Edwards, Clinton in that order. Biden was the best of the 2nd tier.

7. No one.
Everyone in the room had already made their decision - that it was why they were there.

Tonight's show has no national audience and does not matter.

19. Probably - but no one was watching.
In Iowa they don't need to watch tv to figure it out. They are lucky in that they can't turn around without bumping into a candidate. No reason to watch tv - its not personal enough.

13. I'm with you,
I just wish Biden would have finished with a bang - leaving the crowd fired up.

And you were right about the Chicago joke. I guess Obama bussed in alot of people.

20. It depends on how many times the crowd
has heard his son of a mill worker speech. It worked well for him in 04, but it might wear thin this time around. Of course, I don't like Edwards at all, so I know that my opinion is very biased.

25. The one that gave a true campaign sppech was
HRC. She covered all aspects of why she is running and what she will do as President. Many of the others were too busy trying to be cute with their attacks on HRC. But hey, if they wanna attack her that is good, because when you attack and have nothing else then hey, attack.Just shows your inability to talk issues.

HRC was presidential again and many many saw this and were impressed. If I were giving a revival meeting I would ask Obama and Edwards to speak. Hey, they could pass the plate and get a few dollars but the one that stood above the rest and gave a true, honest to goodness campaign speech and what she would do as President was HRC.

30. They all spoke well......
but I wouldn't vote for Edwards. I'm fed up with his constant Hillary bashing. He has become as bad as Guiliani and the other Republicans. Lately, he mentions her in almost every speech and I'm completely turned off by him and his nasty attacks.
