Diane Feinstein is as bad as Lieberman ever was!
Bush Dog Feinstein continues to sell out the party to Republican interests.

http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/">Glen Greenwald of Salon

Two months ago, Dianne Feinstein used her position on the Senate Intelligence Committee to enable passage of Bush's FISA amendments, granting the President vast new warrantless surveillance powers.

Last month, Feinstein used her position on the Senate Judiciary Committee to ensure confirmation of Bush's highly controversial judicial nominee Leslie Southwick, by being the only Committee Democrat to vote for the nomination (The Politico: "Sen. Dianne Feinstein had emerged as a linchpin in the controversial nomination").

This week, Feinstein used her position on the Senate Judiciary Committee to enable confirmation of Bush's Attorney General nominee by ensuring that the frightened Chuck Schumer didn't have to stand alone (Fox News: "Schumer's and Feinstein's support for Mukasey virtually guarantees that a majority of the committee will recommend his confirmation").

And now, Feinstein is using her position on the Senate Judiciary Committee and Senate Intelligence Committee -- simultaneously -- to single-handedly ensure fulfillment of Bush's telecom amnesty demands, as her hometown newspaper, The San Francisco Chronicle, reports:..."

5. Ya right - you just keep wishing too
They are already talking about Arnold running against her. The repukes are going to take that seat. Her actions just mean they'll have to spend less to do it

8. Yes - I'm here too
But from what I hear the RNC has her seat targeted. They are willling to pull out all the stops (even Arnold) to get it.

This might explain the awful (Ratpublican-thinking) decision to support Casy for AG, (her trying to appease conservitives)but I still don't beleive that will call off the dogs

10. She's not up again until 2012
Edited on Sun Nov-11-07 10:00 AM by MonkeyFunk
I doubt the RNC is planning that far ahead. They've bigger worries on their plate right now.

However, Feinstein will be close to 80 by that time, so she may just not run again.

16. Lieberman was very popular in Connecticut until primaries...
But he ended up losing his primary, and was only able to win the general because the Republicans abandoned their own candidate and supported him. If Feinstein would lose her primary then it would be all over for her, as I don't know if California would allow her an independent run and even if they did I doubt she would be able to get the Republican backing that she would need to win.

6. I hate to say it, but she isn't up for re-election for a while. investigate her husband
Edited on Sun Nov-11-07 09:50 AM by still_one
her subcommittee activities from 2001 to late 2005, suggests she knowingly took part in decisions that eventually put millions of dollars into her husband’s pocket, that exploited her position and power to channel money to her husband’s companies.

"The California Democrat denied that she helped her husband's companies in any way with contracts and said the Senate ethics committee approved the arrangement. But she declined to discuss the value of the contracts or release the ethics ruling. Feinstein also declined to be interviewed on the subject, relying instead on a spokesman."

It should surprise no one why she has been such a hawk on Iraq

If I recall duke cunningham also denied any wrong doing...

20. she is looking out for herself!
She will retire and live off all the money her and her husband amassed on the backs of her constituents. She has lost all respect. I told my father in law she is right winger last year and he said I was nuts! I have held off sending him an email of her votes this year.

She is worst than Joe Lieberman because she still pretends to be a Democrat.
