I know he was very sick and haven't heard from him in awhile.

5. I spoke with DB by phone this evening.
He's still very much on the mend and involved with his doctors in trying to eradicate this thing. He's got a long row to hoe before he's out of the woods with this. More surgery may be required, but there's a possibility medications may do the job without it. Even so, in order to keep his medical benefits, he's got to try going back to work tomorrow. (Ain't America grand? :sarcasm:)

He's very much not himself yet, but he really appreciated the support on the thread I posted a ways back, and that maddezmom linked upthread.
