Where was Ron Paul in 2004?
He could have made a real contrast then, and his message would have gotten to more people. Sure he wouldn't have had half a shot at wining the nomination, but he doesn't now either.

2. Same place he is now--in the pocket of BIG OIL and BIG GAS.
Made a difference? He makes a difference all right--he cons people who don't bother to check his record.

If you hate kids, hate the elderly, and don't think we need ANY environmental laws at all, and think private OIL and GAS should have the run of our national parks, Ron Paul is your guy!!!

Jesus.

I'd vote for RU PAUL before I'd vote for Ron Paul.

4. I don't like Ron Paul or support him in anyway but ....
It would have been nice to see George Bush spend a little money on the primary in 2004.

6. I think the goal of Ron Paul in the race is to pull off some Dems in those
states where you don't have to declare a party affiliation--grab some of the Democratic voters who ONLY hear the NO WAR BS, and grab the independents who might vote for a Dem, so that it appears that there are more GOP voters in certain areas and perhaps fool the Dems into spending more money in places where they don't really need to....

Ron Paul is definitely running "with direction." He gets his dough from Big Oil.

9. Yeah where was he?
What has he done lately? Besides talking like a crazy man. He's so old news but he finds a way to being in the forefront. Maybe I'm the delusional one.

10. There was no Republican race - he opted not to challenge Bush
The contrast between him and Senator Kerry would be as great as the contrast between him and any 2008 Democrat.
