as long as we don't let up. We need to work our asses off until every last vote is counted.
I am a big DK supporter but I will work and support for whomever the DEM nominee is. We NEED to win this one.

Although I liked the extra time the candidates took advantage of,(because of POOR MODERATOR control) and the feisty beginning ( Wolfie totally lost control), I think CNN did a piss poor job with the time screw up! Where were their engineers or director? There were so many glitches. I don't think CNN knows what end is up, (or maybe they do, and it was on purpose):banghead:

11. Hi, discerning christian. Good points. Either CNN didn't really have a grip |
|
on things, or they could have if they had wished to and let it be sloppy on purpose. It's hard to tell with cable news outlets just what's going on at any given moment.
I'm wondering how Iowa and New Hampshire Democrats reacted to this debate.
We're getting ever closer to the first votes for our next president!

Ya know what? It can't happen soon enough for me. I'm so sick of the back biting. It's not the same as when our Tall Handsome Senator was the candidate, but at this point I'm "in Like" with Obama. Anyone one of our Dems running would be better than what we have now. Just think if the '04 election wasn't fixed, and where this country would be now? I know I wouldn't be so totally DEPRESSED! Keep on keepin' on! :hi:

18. Hey, yes, you betcha. I HEAR you callin' on the tall handsome guy. |

Voters who supported Bush-Cheney in 2000 and 2004 should be hanging their heads in shame right now.
They made a terrible choice when they could have made two very good choices.
And you're right -- exactly right -- on where we'd be if we had not been subjected to Bush's cheating and his disastrous administration for 7 years now.

12. I agree, except for one thing. CNN did a lousy job of |
|
moderating and that screwed candidates in terms of the overall amount of time. I mean DK got screwed six ways to Sunday and Dodd, Biden and Richardson didn't - time wise - fare that much better.
Flip side- that they couldn't control so much, the candidates - all of them - showed more passion and integrity and fire- not so much about winning as about what they believed in - that I have seen before. For the first time, I really felt that they all believed in something. I mean Richardson ( who I don't support) basically saying when he started to get cut saying " no wait, this is really important ( or words to that effect). That kind of stuff tonight - absolutely rocked. I watched it with my 14 year old and he was blown away.
We are so going to kick the neo-cons asses next year.

17. I love your take on this, tomg. It's in the right-on category, IMO. |
|
Agree also that these televised political debates have a strong pull toward frontrunners and that it's a conflict of interests. Blitzer is not an impartial observer and he's not much of a journaist either. Kucinich, Biden, and Dodd are routinely cheated in coverage. So the problem is that they can't win without coverage and they aren't covered "because they aren't winning."
I hate the mainstream media!
On a side note regarding your wtching the debate with your son: it sounds like there's some mighty fine parenting going on at your house. Hats off to ya.

We've got a certified blue-ribbon array of stellar candidates to choose from!
Despite legitimate differences among them (and us), I'm proud of all of them.
Now...
GObama!
