I've been watching all of the debates
Democrat and Republican. I've been paying attention to CSPAN, CNN, MSNBC, FOX daily. I've been reading everything I can about every candidate. I've checked out their websites. I've checked out their voting record, and most importantly, I've listened very carefully to what they're saying. What their vision is for America. What they'll do when in office. How they see the rest of the world and what we can do to bring our credibility back along with strong ties with our Allies.

I have to say, it always comes back to Joe Biden. I can't get away from him. I just get the sense with Joe Biden in the white House I can rest my head on my pillow at night and fall asleep knowing everything's going to be OK.

1. I started out liking Joe 4 years ago - and the more I get to know about him, the more impressed I am
I'm at the point where if he doesn't make it, I have no idea who I would support...

No one compares.

2. I have that problem too, I've not considered anyone else and am
ashamed to say I pay little attention to the others.

3. You're so right
You start out liking him, and when you find out more, you like him more.

5. O'm with ya! I've done the same, and I've tried to listen to each debate
and speech with an unbiased mind. Joe has always stood out from the rest! I'm still hoping for Iowa!!!!!

7. You're probably right. The guy knows his stuff.
Maybe he doesn't do some things I wish he would, and I used to think he was all talk and no action, but it sounds like from the debate he is doing a lot of his work behind the scenes (re: telling Bush he'd impeach if he attacked Iran).

9. You really never hear Joe tooting his own horn
until he's in a situation like "running for President". And when you start finding out about some of the things he's done behind the scenes like meeting with Milosevic in private and then he told him he was going to see him tried as a war criminal, or Bill Clinton who confided in him many times, you start thinking to yourself "this guy's the real deal".

10. When I imagine being truly comfortable with a Pres...it's always Biden.
I can't shake it. I have doubts about Hillary, doubts about Obama and Edwards. For some reason, Biden puts me at ease. On another thread they were talking about Biden as VP and I was wondering if he would accept that position. Also, I think it would depend on who the Republicans pick. If it ends up crazy Guiliani, couldn't Biden help with the East Coast people who might be not so sure about him? This is going to be a wild ride.

11. Senator Biden has stated
that he will not accept a VP slot. He believes it will be more of a ceremonial position, and he believes he can do more as chairmen of the Foreign Relations Committee.
