Need advice - I got my application for a mail in ballot today.
What do you think is safer?

Mailing in your ballot or physically voting at the polls on election day?
Arizona is part of tsunami Tues (2/05)

And *why* do I even have to worry about this :banghead:

1. absentee ballots are probably more likely to be counted

3. Not true, absentee ballots are rarely counted unless the number of ballots
would change the outcome of the election. Example; 20 absentee ballots come in. The regular machine count is:Hillary has 60, Obama has 30, Edwards has 25. No reason to count absentee ballots.

4. That's what I am thinking. I have always mailed in my ballot before, but I am worried my ballot
will lay in a box somewhere.

2. Paper, either way, is my take. (I like going to the polling place,
the process and all, yet absentees are usually hand counted. At least in my county.)

And, kudos for voting! however you choose to do so.

5. If you will vote on a touchscreen at your polling location, go absentee.
If you will vote optical scan, do it at the polling location. If is crucial to have a paper ballot.
