I just don't want her for president. I admire her for a lot of things, but none of those things qualify her, in my mind, to be president.

6. I don't hate Hillary. I question whether she would be the most effective |
|
person to take over at a time when drastic changes are needed. She would be infinitely better than any gopper, and I appreciate what could become her monumental place in history. I am just concerned about some of her financial backers. I hope if she is our nominee she will wipe the floor with the pukes and be pushed towards more progressive policies during her time in office.

|
There are many perfectly rational reasons for people not wanting her to be the Democratic nominee, it has nothing to do with "hating".

10. Too much baggage for me. Can you imagine the |
|
crap she would have to deal with if in office?
It'll make Cigargate look like a Christmas party!
I certainly don't hate her, and actually admired her strength in the 1990's.

11. No, I'm just sick and tired of her already... |
|
.... I'll happily caucus and then vote for Kucinich in the primaries.
Hate is too strong a word for me. I'm just sick and tired of her and Bill and I don't appreciate their corporate leanings. Never did abide his welfare "reform" nor NAFTA. I don't need the reminder of those policies unless there comes a time when a future president tries to repeal them.
Thanks for asking. Today is the day when I finally feel the need to get some things off my chest. The last debate had me saying pfui.

And I believe that's exactly what it is to the Clinton's. They both seem to care more about winning at any cost than winning for the benefit of "we the people". After 12 years of that shit, I'd really rather go a different route.

personal. I do not know her to say whether I like her or not. I do know, however, I don't like her policies, and I don't think she's the right direction this country needs so desperately.

18. Don't hate her but don't want her as our candidate either |
|
She's a grand Senator but I think she would be a terrible candidate and, if elected, would provide "more of the same" from the Oval Office.
As time goes by I find myself gravitating towards Edwards even if the liklihood exists that he will turn out to be just pandering to workers, unions, etc. if he gets into office. Still, at least he's talking the talk. Nobody else is.

19. you act like that is a bad thing |
|
it's the Bush-hater meme again, as if there were not very legitimate reasons to hate him.
In the same way, I think there are very legitimate reasons to hate Hillary.
It's not really personal. I would hate any corporate faux-progressive being pushed on our party by the M$M and a consortium of bigshots, but I also did not like the way she was hand-picked to be Senator of New York, a state I have some personal connection to. She's also a wealthy celebrity with neither understanding nor concern for the problems of ordinary people.

I'm not a Hillary supporter. I don't have to "love" a candidate to support them or "hate" them to support someone else. Other people feel that need. I'm not one of those people.

I never have. There are people I dislike, Bush being one of them, but the second I begin to hate is the second I have contempt for myself. People who hate become bitter and I don't want to be bitter. :D

It's a shame about hysterical over-zealous supporters...they can really turn people off on a candidate.

31. Another Poorly Framed Poll |
|
If you accept this frame, you lose the debate, unless your goal is to paint anyone who disagrees with Hillary as someone who "hates" her instead of someone who strongly disagrees with her and or thinks other candidates are better.
I didn't realize Frank Luntz posted here...
