The Surge is working!!! (Umm..what happens when we reduce the troop levels)? |
|
I am too sick of hearing how well the surge is working.. DUH!.. of course security is better..there are thousands of extra soldiers in Iraq. Why is no crack reporter asking what will happen when these soldiers who are living among the iraqi's leave?

1. Well the violence in Basra went down |

90% after the Brits left. I suspect the same will happen with the rest of Iraq.

People are dying every day. How is that "working"? The Chimp has no clue what he's doing and it doesn't help when say he does.

4. I do not believe it's working, but for the sake of srgument let us say it is |
|
The whole thing is being set up as a RW talking point - why should our troops leave now just as we are about to score a victory??
Or so their argument goes.
Surge = victory = needing to stay and ensure further victory
Equals further surges = further victories
Except that the Army is broken and the people there are all stop lossed and re-upped.
And beyond exhaustion
