in 2010 (Obama would have to run then anyhow). New York has 23 Democratic Congressmen and 6 Republican ones. That leads me to believe that virtually any Democrat would win there. Illinois is 10 to 9 our favor but we have most statewide offices including both Senate Seats. We have won every open seat we have run for and all but one Senate race period since 1978. I find it hard to believe we wouldn't hold that seat.

NY and IL both have Democratic governors, so we'd retain the seat no matter where it was.
