Clintonia is better than Jesus land
The Clintons are battle-hardened winners. They have a proven track record of winning the big election.

Should we risk 4 more years of Jesus land by anointing an unknown and untried candidate? I would bet on the Clinton machine visa via the Rovian evangelical hordes.

3. Pyrrhic Victory At Best
Bill Clinton won by throwing Democrats, and Democratic values, under the bus. As soon as the Clintons took control we lost both houses of Congress. As soon as an actual Democrat (Dean) regained control of the DNC, we won back both houses.

Hillary has won two elections against third-tier candidates in a very-blue state. She has never won a significant legislative victory.

Bill outsourced torture and jobs - he'd do anything for Wall Street. The evidence indicates that Hillary is no different.

5. Where has the Clinton 'machine' been the last 7yrs Rove machine was dominating
Edited on Fri Nov-23-07 02:07 PM by blm
the debate and pulling every trick in the book against the entire Dem PARTY they were smearing while they continued to hang lies about Clintons around every Dem's neck from 2000-2006?

How did the Clinton machine do fighting back against the "Clintons trashed the White House" lie that went on for most of 2001?

How did Clinton machine do fighting back the meme created by RW lies that "Democrats are weak on terror" and "Clinton did nothing to stop terrorism" for all that time BEFORE that movie that was based on those FIVE YEARS of RW lies was set to air?

Interesting to me that Clintons chose to not USE their machine while they LET Rove dominate the debate.

Were Clintons AFRAID of the Rove machine or did they deliberately stand down and LET Rove go uncountered because it kept their party from gaining any traction against BushInc.

I wonder if Al Gore and John Kerry are pleased with the Clintons decision to stand down against Rove machine after they used all of their cache protecting and DEFENDING the Clintons and other Democrats throughout their careers.

12. I'll reply
You're absolutely correct.

But that's preaching to the choir, I reaize. However, I really would like to see some intelligent rebuttals to the notion that the Clinton/DLC/Centrist elements have been a major reason for the lack of backbone against Bushco over the last seven years.

from 2001-2006 do it without any back up from them. In fact, they usually sided with Bush.

14. Why settle for either/or?
Every day, we piss and moan about changing this and removing that. I don't want Clintonia or Jesus Land for that very reason.
