1. I'm surprised that you didn't include... |
|
a separate line for the Kucinich Brownshirts. Wonder if Dennis has found Iowa yet?

15. Some of your references to "Kucinich Brownshirts" have been deleted |
|
in the past. At best, you simply have no clue at all.

I think Iowans will be nervous voting for Edwards if they don't think he can win there, since Edwards is lagging everywhere else in the nation he most needs an Iowan win to stay competitive. Edwards is well known in Iowa, if the voters there were firm in wanting to see his candidacy move forward he would not have lost as much ground as he has there in the last 6 months. If it doesn't seem like he will remain a viable candidate leaving Iowa, that will cost Edwards some soft support in the caucuses.
I think Obama will come in first if for no other reason than non Clinton supporters chosing to caucus in a way that will slow down her front runner campaign and keep the race going.
But I am not confident about any prediction in Iowa. If it were a primary state I would feel more confident making predictions.

3. I think Clinton's going to pull it off |
|
But Obama will be close enough that he'll have some "mo" going into New Hampshire.
Said "mo" will materialize as supporters of other candidates joining Obama as the ABH candidate.
This is my prediction. :)

4. I voted Edwards Obama then Clinton |
|
I just think that the rural voter will be attracted to Edwards more than Obama or Clinton. That isn't a judgement call by any means, but the rural voter might relate better to Edwards.

I think it is possible that if Clinton and Obama start slinging barbs at each other, Edwards could look like the reasonable one, and walk away with it. And he has invested a lot into Iowa. It could pay off for him.

with the possibility that all three may not be viable in all precincts (and realignment in the Iowa Caucuses) I think at least one of the second tier will be in the top three.

17. No disrepect to second tier candidates was meant |
|
THe polling form only allows for ten options and it is unlikely at the moment that anyone othen than these three will finish in the the top three positions.
