3. Yeah, it's odd. There shouldn't be a four day holiday gap in a tracking poll |
|
He says he's going to 7 days a week on the daily tracking poll starting Dec. 1

So, it's not as if there are actual people doing the calling...
He should have an explanation... His polls are fun and he nailed 04 but I still treat them with a grain of salt because of his connections...
I hadn't posted for about four days because this board has become so hostile and contentious... I'll take another hiatus if it starts again...
I'm a Dem who wants to see Dems win; not seeing if I can beat everybody here in a pissing match...
Did you have a nice Thanksgiving?

(I'm sure you will recognize that the comparisons are about behind-the-scenes experience, not comparisons of the overall personal quality of the people mentioned)

|
http://www.surveyusa.com/client/PollReport.aspx?g=8d04025f-3b99-41fd-b488-a470924222b1Shows Hillary blowing her competition away. Unfortunately, Obama doesn't match up that well. I guess this poll must be wrong. *sigh*

13. I'd Like A Dispassionate Argument Showing What Red Or Purple States He Puts In Play |
|
I saw a poll showing him leading in IA by a point or two... IA is not enough if we lose FL and OH and IA went Bush* by less than a fraction of a percent...

14. The Iowa poll has a wrinkle to it... |
|
It pits a man, Obama, who has a big presence in Iowa (including TV ads) against Giuliani, who has skipped Iowa, so Iowa is not very indicative of the national landscape.
(Clinton's weak showing in that poll does, however, suggest that she'll lose Iowa, which I expect to happen anyway)

18. That's The Same Inference I Drew |
|
And the inference I drew from her weak showing in FL is that the Dems have shot themselves in the foot with all their shenagigans here... WTF? Dems can't campaign in the fourth largest state in the Union?
I don't care who's fault it is it is stupid stripping FL of its delegates...

19. Florida has become the toughest of the big three (MO, OH and FL) |
|
If the economy rolls off the table Texas might end up in play, but as things stand now Florida is looking redder than VA, NC or Kentucky, and that aint good.

|
It's also important to look at recent electoral history...
Gore won it...Kerry came close and I can't think of a worse fit for FL than he was...

He doesn't put any states in play that weren't already. But these three Dem leaning battleground states go from slim Repuke chance to 50/50 chance or better for Ghouliani. He puts these states in serious danger for any Democrat.

But the MOE on that internal must be huge as there are not many Hispanics in KY...If they polled 500 people they must have polled 15 or so Hispanics...

15. Look at other SUSA state polls. Sometimes Obama does better than Hillary |
|
sometimes not. If I remember correctly, Washington was stronger for one, Oregon was stronger for the other.
I wouldn't say either Obama or HRC are "unelectable" but they both have their challenges. HRC already has her haters, and Obama will be raked over the coals for his perceived inexperience and scary muslim sounding name.
IMO, Edwards and Biden would perform better than each of them.

That's the best she can do?? We need to nominate a candidate who will deliver Ohio. Not leave us up all night long Election Night wondering. Neither Clinton nor Obama will win it.
