Question regarding Sen Kennedy's whereabouts of late.... |
|
My republican son who usually has his facts wrong (of course) on Thanksgiving told me that Ted Kennedy has been missing in the Senate of late and just recently showed up after about a 4 month absence. He receives all kinds of wacko wingnut email crap and that's were he got the information. Of course, I can find nothing to verify this but wondered if anyone else has heard the same thing or knows where this comes from. I know that Sen Kennedy was hospitalized recently and that this is possibly where this came from. I make a point of following up and correcting my son on all his mis-statements and don't want to let this one pass. Thanks in advance!

Here is a list of the votes he has missed: http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/members/k000105/votes/missed/There is no four month stretch of missed votes this year. He has missed more votes than most Senators who are not running for President or sick: http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/110/senate/vote-missers/
