offbeat political stat of the day: Hillary buttons are biggest sellers for Ohio company

A western Ohio company has its own indicator of who the favorites are for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Tigereye Design in Greenville produces buttons, bumper stickers and other campaign paraphernalia for Democrats nationwide. Its merchandise is sold at party gatherings, labor rallies and through a Web site, DemocraticStuff.com.

Tigereye owner Tony Baltes said in the presidential race, Hillary Clinton items are the top sellers, followed closely by those promoting Barack Obama.

Though he's barely registering in the polls, Dennis Kucinich is third. Baltes said the Cleveland congressman is very popular among Democrats in Iowa, New Hampshire, California, Michigan, New Jersey and Tennessee.
