|
Edited on Wed Nov-28-07 05:48 PM by TeamJordan23
Just saw on CNN. DNC cancelled it because of the writers strike.

1. Dang! I was going to go to this - well not go inside but rally outside |
|
But good for the candidates for not crossing the picket line.

3. NPR is hosting a Dem debate on the 4th (next Tuesday) |
|
so I do think this cancellation is legit.

4. Because the republicans will be doing sprints |
|
to see who can cross the picket line the fastest. It's worth at least ten points in the polls.

8. Republicans would walk over the bloody corpses of union members for a photo-op |
|
They probably hired Fox News scabs for this one tonight.

10. It depends on where it will be held. The debate on the 10th was to be at CBS studios |
|
in Los Angeles, where there are strikers everyday. I don't think all debates are actually held at studios - some are at colleges or other halls.

6. I must be on a very different wavelength than a lot of people |
|
Frankly the writers' strike hasn't affected me in any way.

7. Here's the schedule I found; |
|
December 13, 2007: Democratic presidential debate sponsored by Des Moines Register and IPTV, Johnston, IA December 17, 2007: CNN and Politico.com host a Democratic presidential debate at the Kennedy Library in Boston

12. Good for them. They are establishing a strong pattern now... |

of not crossing picket lines.
Good.
