1. Maybe that was Frank's special debate roadkill/hairpiece making the call.

9. to quote Fletcher Reede--
"Your hairpiece looks like something that was killed crossing the highway. I don't know whether to comb it or scrape it off with a shovel and bury it in lime"

3. The Free Republic announced that Romney was the winner.
(I sneaked over to their website to look. I only vomited 3 times)

6. I fell asleep watching the CNN repeat of the debate.
Thompson was probably on at the time. Mittens was trying to shout everyone down like a hate-radio talk show host.

If anyone "won" that waste of time, I would say it was either Ron Paul or Huckabee, because they were the only ones who were willing to say anything not from the PNAC script.

8. The poll results aside, I think Frank Luntz should quit with the political
analyses on tv and move to a job he's far more suitable for -- inheriting the "Mr. Whipple" role for the Charmin toilet paper ads.

Destiny is calling, Frank.

11. In listening to Luntz's group, as they voiced opinions, I gathered
the distinct impression, they believed Romney won. Two guys
explained that Thompson showed so much improvement, they were pleased.

This is intuitive from watching them...They are so disappointed
with GWB( this particular group of Republicans) they believe they
need someone entirely different. Thus McCain and Guilliani were
not even hardly mentioned. IMO, Rommney in no way reminds them
of Bush. Polished, Looks Presidential. One woman described him
as being able to answer the questions articulately and can summarize
his thoughts in the time allotted. Another woman mentioned how Romney
was able to say directly and firmly, "I made a mistake" talking about
the abortion issues. They saw this as a plus. After thinking it through, I can understand how this group chose Romney as winner.
