Election 2008: New Hampshire Democratic Primary
New Hampshire: Clinton Lead Falls To Single Digits
Saturday, December 01, 2007

In New Hampshire, home to the first-in-the-nation Presidential Primary, Hillary Clinton’s lead over Barack Obama is now measured in single digits.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone poll of the state’s Likely Primary Voters shows Clinton with 33% of the vote while Obama attracts 26%. John Edwards is the top choice for 15% while Bill Richardson earns 9% of the vote. Joe Biden and Dennis Kucinich are each preferred by 4%.

Clinton’s seven-point advantage is down from a ten-point lead in early November.
In October, Clinton held a sixteen-point advantage over Obama.
A month earlier, Clinton was ahead by twenty-three percentage points.

Clinton leads Obama by fourteen among women but trails by three among men. Last month, she led by seventeen among women and was tied among men.

Sixty-seven percent (67%) of Clinton’s supporters are “certain” they will vote for her. Sixty-three percent (63%) of Obama’s supporters are that certain along with 49% of those who plan to vote for Edwards.

At this rate, HRC and Obama will be tied by the time of the election.

1. Haha, this is funny
I commented on another thread about this from a Hillary supporter who left out all this information, choosing to only cite the pro-hillary things. This is some of the most important information in the poll. Obama has tightened up to a point where I think if he wins Iowa, he will win NH as well.

3. The more people get to know Obama
the more they recognize a man who is ready to provide the judgment, wisdom, integrity, and moral leadership to reclaim America and our place in the world.

It's time for a change. There is still hope for America, and Obama personifies the hope.

Good thread.

You excerpts clearly underline the favorable trends now driving Obama's rise in polls.

9. Reminds me of Baseball season.......
It ain't where you are when the leaves are green.....it all matyters where you are when the leaves are brown (or in this case, when the snow is on the ground).

I had a feeling this would tighten up.

11. Corporate nonsense...
Shoving their anointed one down our throats...

Ths poll is bullshit...bullshit I tell you...

I have met exactly ZERO Obama supporters...a much more accurate gauge than the so called "scientific" polling perptrated on us by the corporate media scum...

And of course the sheeple will follow right over a cliff called Obama...
