Clinton sucks at heartland conference
Of all the candidates who showed up, she is the only one who got booed for bullshit answers. Unresponsive and evasive. I could vote for and support any of the other candidates. Clinton sucked!

23. Well, I think what"sucks" is your language!
Don't like her? Then don't vote for her, but show a modicum of respect. She should just have cancelled and be better off than be booed by some left wingers. I didn't approve of the booing that went on during the CNN debate and I certainly don't approve of the lack of respect shown today to Hillary.

too many others here on DU don't seem to deal well with.

5. Not sure why your post is called lame
Could it be because Clinton SUCKED and her supporters are feeling tight.

I believe the OP said she sucked because she gave evasive answers, something she has done in the past.

So we get five people taking shots at the OP and someone who doesn't respond recommends the thread. Now I am shamelessly pimping it.

I would sympathize, except for how rude some of them have been towards others. So my sympathy is for the non-rude Hillary supporters.

Hillary is toast. I would think that she has to be thinking of whether she will continue to attack Obama, beings as how this would jeapardize her chances on getting a VP nod....

22. We are way past the time for candidates who won't fight as hard as they can for the Constitution
and the other issues the Republicans have forced upon us. It is NOT the time for those who won't kick ass and take back the country.

The money siphon the capitalists repubs have installed into the Treasury must be removed. It won't go with out a strong, very clearly dedicated person in office. I can't vote for any candidate who won't stand up to the repubs and say "absolutely not", and stick to it.

didn't watch it, but even I know she wasn't there. She had to phone it in, due to inclement weather. And I've read a transcript of what she got booed for- she wasn't evasive or unresponsive. She answered honestly and accurately.

The people who booed her at the forum were as boorish and dull witted as your OP.

26. If I could have persuaded those folks to withhold their booing, I would have.
If they prefer another candidate, it seems to me they could register and cast a vote for their favorite.

I'm not a Clinton Democrat but I believe respect is owed to the process. We're in a Constitutional republic and in addition to meeting all required criteria for president, Senator Clinton is an Ivy League-educated woman -- one who earned her degree (as opposed to a certain incumbent president we could name) -- and as well, there is the general consideration of good form versus shabby manners.

She has a right to speak without derision and a right to participate in the process we all respect.

32. I don't care if there are boos or not.. If you see a bad play, audiences
will boo... Be happy that there are finally young people paying attention and they don't want a coporate pundit.. Politics is messy.. I think we are too nice at times at displaying civility.. Have you ever read some of the articles from back in the day... Wow, they weren't nearly as civilized as we are today... Personally, I am not going to be happy with Hillary... We need a wake-up... we need to know the truth... we need real change all the way around from the environment to worker's rights.. I'm sorry, but if its as mild as booing, I have to say.. get over it. I boo and hiss at the t.v. when I see some other msm push tactic being thrown on us... I want to puke when I see Bush... A boo is nothing. If she ran a truly progressive campaign that really addressed our real needs as citizens... then she would get tons of appraise and MSM would give equal time to all candidates so we could make a fair and partial judgement at the voting booth.

34. I know. Its ok to disagree. I think, though, its fair to say the booing is
probably coming from younger participants. And this is a good thing... We need more involved. It may be childish a bit... but maybe if she hears it, she will recognize, the same ole' is just not good enough.

37. Sorry I disagree
I think we are long past the time where we need to allow our representatives to say whatever they want without feedback either positive or negative out of respect. They have proven time and again that the only thing that moves them is outspoken forcefully dissent and even then it is still questionable.

Gone are the times of respectful discourse IMHO it is time to fight for what we want and time to fight loudly. Long past time actually.

36. What needs to happen is a nominee needs to keep the Dems vote and get some of the
middle of the road Republican vote. Without them it will be to easy for the election to be stolen again. With Clinton as the nominee she irks enough of the Dems that they just won't vote and the middle of the road Rupubs surely won't vote for her. Now you folks that want to complain that Clinton is better then any Repub, well she's not, she's Repub-lite to many Dems and her corporate backers are the same ones backing the Republican canidates. So save it, we need a land slide election for a progressive democratic nominee, to get away from the criminals that we have now. And that's all if we get to have an election anyway.

42. At DU anything negative Clinton gets 20-135 recs, anything positve Edwards gets 50-250 recs
As you can see, all it took for this thread to get 27 (and still counting) recommendations were 2 words: "Clinton sucks". There was no message, no logic, no nothing, just Clinton sucks. It makes me wonder how there can be so many mindless minions all in one place.

OTOH, post a thread that John Edwards walked the dog and it would reach the greatest page in minutes. The mindless minions who get together to vote up anything that supports their little games have made a complete mockery out of DU's Greatest Page. The first thing I used to look at when I'd come here would be the Greatest Page, but not anymore.

44. Her chances of winning Iowa are diminishing each day.
But her problem is the Iowa winner (and to some extent the #2) are going to have big momentum into New Hampshire. If she finishes below second in both states, she has big problems heading into Nevada. Without any first or seconds in these 3 contests, no way she can be the nominee.
