Rasmussen- HRC -37% Obama 24% JRE-15%
In the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. Clinton now attracts 37% of the vote while Barack Obama earns 24. John Edwards remains in third place among the Democratic hopefuls at 15%, Bill Richardson is the top choice for 6%, and no other Democratic candidate tops 3% (see recent daily numbers).

Tracking polls are notoriously volatile:

Day-by-day the tracking poll can only show temporary gains or losses attributable to temporary events.

7. That was not a gaff. That was overblown with faux ourtrage from Obama's supporters
I hate it when Obama supporters play the race card. It had nothing to do with race. I have heard time and again suggesting that another candidate would make a good running mate, or secretary of state. This was no different.

Dang...long season.

10. Faux outrage by Obama supporters
Edited on Sun Dec-02-07 10:21 AM by mac2
The race and sex card is getting a bit worn for me too. I go by their politics. What exactly has Obama done to deserve such support (I live in his state and am outraged over many of his votes)? He gives a wonderful speech but doesn't follow through with his vote. He can't win. Hillary might not either.

It seems to me the race for President is being determined before we get to vote in any primary. The media won't accept any other Democrat candidates but Obama and Clinton as being in the race.

Might they want us to lose yet another election or divide us like the last few elections since 2000? Evenly divided and close races are suspicious to me these days. They can say...well the country was evenly divided so I decide (Bush) how it should be. Polls show the people are pretty well united on many issues our government ignores. There is no Bush mandate.

15. I have to agree with you.
He apparently has "charisma," which I hope is not the criteria we use to elect a president. He is a lightweight with no experience, and with constant mistakes that show his inability to be the president.

2. Polls in Iowa
Edited on Sun Dec-02-07 09:59 AM by mac2
Remember when the media and polls were giving the Iowas Democratic primary to Howard Dean? He didn't win did he.

It wasn't his famous scream that lost him the primary (as CNN recently declared). It was his lie about not supporting the Iraq war. He stood in front of union members and told them NAFTA was good for them even if they didn't like it. It was his politics which lost him the primary.

6. OK
Edited on Sun Dec-02-07 10:11 AM by mac2
But you won't know that by CNN last night. They had a program about all the ads and negative attacks (such as Swift Boating Kerry, etc.) which lost elections.

It was not true of course. Kerry won the election regardless of the Swift Boaters. The election was stolen. As you state...Dean screamed after he lost.

They manipulated all the Republican attacks and information by Democrats as being so petty and wrong. Once again...Republicans can do no wrong on the whore media.

there's so much on record PROVING that Dean opposed the war, that bold faced lies don't even merit posting them. Scrape the hate out of your eyes.

8. I heard it on TV
When Dean and Edwards announced their run for President on the National Press Club, they both stated they supported going into Iraq by Bush. Dean said, he supported Bush but opposed the way he said it.

Edwards later admitted he supported it but he was wrong. Dean never did.

It is not hate but the truth.

She supported Arnold too. I haven't watched her since. Guess that's why she's at the top. The elite like her politics.
