Boggles the mind ... Texas murderer vs. Akron politician ... which do you figure gets sympathy? |
|
This morning, I heard a local RW radio a-hole, getting into such a fit about "the latest sign that the PC thing is going to turn this country around"!!!
As I found out later, this radio idjit was going on and on about how there's a public outcry about the guy in Texas who shot and killed two men who were looting someone else's home ... as if that actually warrented the death penalty.
But ...
As much as the hate was spewed against those who think that this guy may have his moral compass a bit off true North, you should read and hear about Akron Democrat Marco Sommerville ...
Calls for his head on a silver platter (or at least his resignation) have been coming in daily in the Akron Beacon Journal. His crime? He was running late, grabbed his briefcase from his car, and tried to board a commercial flight. Unfortunately for him, he had a loaded pistol in there. At this point, he is not in jail, but is facing punishment. But if you were to believe the local repukes, he committed a far greater crime than the guy who decided to be judge, jury, and executioner when his life wasn't threatened.
Go figure ... The real crime (in the Repukes' eyes) is that Sommerville is a Democrat (and, for that matter, a BLACK Democrat - the last thing a Repuke really wants is an armed urban person).
After reading the LTTEs about him, it's no wonder he feels it necessary to carry a gun ... and he's licensed to do so ...
