Has Bush demoted himself to press secretary? |
|
This was my wife's take on that horrific press conference yesterday. Maybe this is why Snow left-they had someone to fill his spot (other than the "You press geeks will fear my cuteness" Perino woman).
This stems from his claim that he didn't get the NIE brief until last week. There has been a lot of information that that simply wasn't the case --including the fact that Cheney's goons were once again putting the screws to the report writers --or at least shouldn't have been the case. The important part is what Bush said about being told of coming changes.
Someone walks into an executives office and tells him that the information on which past present and future decision making took place was going to change and HE doesn't demand that he be told right NOW what they are working on? He isn't insulted that he ISN'T the first to be briefed on it? He actually brushes them off and spins around to stare back out the window?
Please.
I understand about getting the report together before taking it to the boss but when (for instance) you are switching from steam to gas power the guy selling the steam is going to want to know about that, wouldn't you think? Or is his job just to read whatever they put in front of him and be charming to the pressies, you know like a press secretary does.

1. His job is, and has always been, the latter. Read what they put in front of him |

Your wise wife is correct. DimSon IS the press secretary. He is the organ grinder's monkey. Clowns and preforms, tips his hat when you give him coin, then turns and defecates.
He most certainly IS NOT the leader of the free world
bush is the embodiment of Vonnegut's last president (chimp-like) of the failing United States of America

2. I prefer the term "puppet". I'm just grateful that there are people |
|
who are willing to actually research his outrageous claims instead of blindly believing him. The truth will win out.
