Not quite Oprah, but.... Well, I guess Hillary has the DIY vote nailed down.

I know you meant it as satire of sorts, but there's a lot of folks who watch HgTV et al.

4. I'm not a supporter of Hillary but Bob Vila is a pretty popular guy. |
|
Personally I have never seen Oprah but I catch Bob Vila from time to time on tv and he has a useful website.
Frankly, your post seems uninformed, petty, and immature.

and others who are viewed as mostly entertainment figures. while Oprah and Vila are seen as more serious figures who people look to for advice or help.

6. Bob Vila runs a nonunion shop! |
|
http://www.homeabc.net/Other/2936-3-other.htmlThe construction labor on the homes they build and remodel is for the most part non-union. Very few parts of the USA require union labor in the home building industry, one notable exception being Chicago, IL.:hide:

Bob Vila couldn't even carry Bil Holmes' hammer (Holmes on Homes). I wish he would just go home again.

And now Vila is hawking "Bella Wood" lumber for big $$$... not exactly "green" is he? And he's non-union too. Oy!

He also seems like a nice guy who knows a lot but doesn't need to puff his chest out constantly.

Besides, I'm sure that he could give Hillary good advice on home repairs. With several homes, there's probably plenty to fix and I don't see Bill being that good with a hammer. :D
