1. The thing is...they would have no right....
bush was such a user he burned out his brain..So why could they have any right to say something about Obama. But don't worry any thing any tiny thing they can dig up on the candidates they will.

44. Bush as a draft dodger who did not even fully serve with the NG attacked a war hero.
You are not dealing with reality if you think the GOP cares about the appearance of hypocrisy.

2. If there nominee will be Huckabee or Romney almost certainly.
I would Assume Giuliani would be smart enough to stay away from personal attacks considering his own fucked up personal life.

Thanks Hill...

EDIT: Even Ghouliani defended Obama against these gutter-ball smears. But not Hillary and her supporters. Shame.

During a campaign stop in Chicago, Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani was asked if he thought Obama's comments to the students were appropriate.

"I respect his honesty," Giuliani said.

"One of the things that we need from our people that are running for office is not this pretense of perfection," said Giuliani, who has faced questions about his own personal life marked by three marriages and estrangement from his two children. He said of the candidates, "we're all human beings."

It's silly for ObamaNation to blame Clinton because Obama admitted to using coke.
Silly.

6. Sure, as they will try to make an issue of everything they can find concerning any other candidates.
Edited on Thu Dec-13-07 08:44 AM by Mass
Bill's womanizing will be turned against Hillary.

Edwards's big house, changing positions between 2004 and 2007, and his haircut will be used against him.

And I am sure that they will find something against anybody else.

So, the real issue is whether ALL DEMOCRATS will be behind whoever the nominee is, or if they will repeat the GOP and MSM smears, just as some did in 2000 and 2004.

It will be a field day for them, only beause they don't have to prove Obama really did it. It's already in the books that he used.

What the rightwing propaganda machine will do with this is they'll have half the country believing that Obama will be under the influcence while he's in the WH, if elected, with his fingers ready to push the button after he has a couple more snorts. Karl Rove is licking his chops on this. Scare and fear, here we come.

I belong to an interest group forum that has both liberals and conservatives in it. It's an interesting place, it definitely leans right, though about a third of us are liberals. The results as of 2 pm.

"If a candidate admits to past drugs use and says they have changed their life, is it an issue?"

yes. 1
no. 12

So while they GOP may use it, it may not be that effective.
