Every single one of them made me damned proud to be a Democrat.
I'm still supporting Hillary in the primary, but I'd be proud to vote for any of them.

Moderator: "With all of the Clinton advisers on your campaign, how are you going to offer a clean break from the past?"
Obama:
HRC: "I'd like to hear the answer to this..."
Obama: "Well, Hillary, i look forward to you advising me as well."
HRC: laughs. REALLY loud.

I support all of them. Nice to see candidates with substance. Was terrific and will happy to vote for any of them. I support hillary, but who ever wins, will be good for America. Great debate all our candidates have tons of excellence over the R's.

I really mean that, we're very lucky to have so many good candidates. I'm not a Dennis supporter, but i do think they should have said something about the way he was treated just to show solidarity. Just my very humble opinion.
Peace!

Not that I could watch a debate in the morning anyway, but this one I won't even bother with the repeat.
If they exclude Dennis, they exclude me.

25. The second tier candidates. They all got good amounts of time. |
|
It was good to see them speak for a change.
Otherwise, in the top tier...Obama seemed to do very well. He didn't gain any ground, but held his own. Edwards really carried the common theme throughout the debate of fighting special interests and wanting to fight them and beat them. I think that helped him to look like a fighter who will stand on the side of the middle class. It was a good theme to carry in an Iowa debate.
Hillary really bothered me. Her cackle and rude comment to Obama about her wanting to hear his answer on the question about Obama having Clinton advisers advising him was stupid and inappropiate. And it did her no favors, especially in front of an Iowa audience.
Sometimes one bad comment can lose you a whole debate. I thought this along with Clinton's open statement saying she'll "work" for change and not hope for it or demand was rubbed me the wrong way, and I have to wonder how it rubbed the common sense Iowan undecided voters.
Clinton lost this debate out of the top tier. She simply was overshadowed, didn't gain any ground which she needed with Obama's lead in the state, and didn't lose any ground--yet rubbed me the wrong way.

It wasn't even a contest. After todays Iowa debate, polls will show Iowans shifting for Edwards in these last 3 weeks.
