13. You are going to find out about whining |
|
Once Bush starts really campaigning and points out that your guy talks out of both sides of his mouth so often he thinks it is a personal virtue. Kerry folks need to buy a clue and stopping rubbing the supporters of other candidates noses in shit. ITS NOT OUR FAULT HE IS A BAD CANDIDATE AND THAT THE VOTERS HAVE BEEN BAMBOOZLED BY DLC BULLSHIT ABOUT WHAT IS AND IS NOT ELECTABLE. You people are really short-sighted and in November you are going to find out the hard way how wrong this shit was. Kerry could win. But he is such a lame candidate that he will make it close enough to steal. And we know who is the better party in a stealing contest. Just like Democrats though, always bringing a knife to a gunfight. But feel free to content yourself in the delusion that the best man has won.

17. Calm down there, Voltaire. |

The original poster was asking for this, or couldn't you see that this was obvious flamebait?
By the way, calling people names isn't going to be a terribly effective strategy to use when trying to persuade people to see your point of view. It makes you look bitter and petty.

23. Most Democrats apparently need the DLC to direct their choices |
|
And you are right, it would be one hell of a mistake to think that "the best man won" this primary process.

It isn't. They can bleat AABxN all they want, isn't going to change that fact. I'm amused at all the hype.

I will support your man if he is the nominee, but to call me a Naderite because I support Dennis Kucinich is extremely rude to say the least. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

I am certainly not for him. I am also not for Kerry so where does that put me? I don't really care if I am a "true" democrat or not. I am one of those ridiculous people supporting Kucinich.

A Kerry supporter that actually believes that Dean supporters might be loyal Democrats?
Well Bravo! That's quite a change from most of the McCarthyites in that camp that claim we're either Greens, Naderites or Republicans.

25. Hey- its not fair to generalize about Kerryites or Deaniacs. |
|
There are obviously a lot of Kerry supporters. Some of us were all ready with our Dean talking points when it looked like he was the guy. Sure, some of us are poor winners - but don't kid your self - if Dean had the nomination that camp would have (did) have its fair share of poor winners.

20. only Kerry supporters will be DUers in a short time |
|
between the exodus of some which continues, certain other factors or "events" I dare not name, and the upcoming "speak no evil" rules once the nominee is selected (IF Kerry's the nominee), it'll be just one big, tho slightly smaller, happy Kerry family.
Actually, I better clarify that. I did see a post by Skinner that said "criticism" of the nominee WILL be allowed -- so it'll be one big, tho slightly smaller, happy but occasionally critical Kerry family.

Singing that self-pity tune like a broken record.
If you and others wish to leave then exercise your right to do so and spare us the bullshit.
The rules were clear before the primaries started and never did revolve around Howard Dean. The rules have always favored the eventual nominee. So don't start whining now like it's some kind of conspiracy after the fact or a rule change just to pick on poor mistreated Dean supporters.
Sheeeesh!

unfrigginreal is a Kerry supporter, he/she appears to be a Dean supporter(if the avatar is any indication). Anyway the grinning devil smiley seems to indicate he/she was just being sarcastic.
We need a smiley that shows sarcasm since the fine art of sarcasm appears to be lost. :-(

What we need as well is that people actually read what a poster says instead of replying to the title. That way some people wouldn't appear like comedians though. Maybe that would help to realise that it was a joke and to see the original poster's avatar. Wouldn't backfire like that then, that many non-Kerry supporters feel offended.
