If the DMR endorsement means nothing, why did Obama actively seek it? |

1. Who said it means nothing? |
|
It has a lousy track record of picking winners, but it does give the candidates a boost in the polls, so it's something.

Why should I answer your question if the premise is false?

6. let me explain this to you |
|
on DU, if it can positively affect Hillary, it "means nothing" and will not turn around her campaign which is currently in a huge nosedive (or so a lot of people hope).
But, if it's something than could perhaps positively affect Obama, it's a very, very important indication of "how strong his campaign is and how much people are responding to his honest, inspirational message of hope and change" (or so some people fervently wish).
May not make much sense, but neither does the reasoning on DU sometimes.

|
and also that he actively tried to get it. the endorsement had some positive words for Obama also.
