How long will Chris Dodd stay in the race...misses another ballot...Virginia

Virginia has a high signature requirement...10,000. The Party initiated a program to "Sign and Date for Eight" where petitions were circulated to get 5,000 signatures up front for each candidate (I signed one of these). So all Dodd had to do was get 5,000 additional...and apparently didn't even get that...

Not looking good...missed New York and Virginia now...

2. I think he's a decent guy so it's too bad.
I have my problems with him like I do with all of them, but he's not a bad guy by any means.

3. He should get out and endorse Biden.
He is the Dukakis of this race... good enough guy, good enough senator, but really unexciting.

4. I'm sorry to see that. We'd do well by him. Did you notice who go the MOST
signatures? Ron Paul! I am curious to see how/if his popularity actually has an affect on the R's race....

6. There are Ron Paul Revolution banners up around here...
And there was a guy in front of the Giant here collecting signatures...a big long haired bearded guy. I got in an argument with him over Paul's racist statements and position on abortion...

Think I scared away a few signatories....

8. So that's what the deal is with Virginia
I'm a college student in Virginia and there was a guy asking for signatures to get Edwards on the ballot there. I couldn't sign because I'm not a Virginia resident but I was wondering why he wouldn't be on the ballot anyway. I guess this explains it.
