TIME - Biden out with new TV ad |
|
"Sophisticated spot focuses on candidate’s experience, wisdom — reminds early state voters that they have a big decision to make in January." http://thepage.time.com/2007/12/20/biden-out-with-new-tv-ad/

I intend to vote for the "grownup" in the crowd...the one who acts presidential and talks presidential. All this bickering has made me feel like we are back in kindergarten at sandbox time.
Joe is the only one, at this point in time, who isn't yelling and acting like a mad man. He has "the plan". He will be able to sit down in the Oval Office and get to work.
That's my opinion and I'm stickin' to it! Joe in January!
Go, Joe!

We'll be there with you in spirit, though a bit envious.
It is so close now. Are you getting nervous or excited?

If you are in Iowa, and you like Joe Biden, or you know people who like Joe Biden or haven't made up their minds yet and aren't sure they are going to caucus, please bring them with you, and please support him! Our country needs him, my family needs him! We need to get out of Iraq without leaving it a shambles to regain our standing in the World. Biden is the one who can do it all. I wish I was in Iowa, I'd have my kids in the stroller and we'd be going around knocking on doors while the older two were in school and explaining to anyone and everyone why my husband and I believe that Biden is the man for the job.

15. Medics Wife! Welcome! |
|
I began reading your blog and will finish tonight when I have more time. It is always good to read "the rest of the story" to get a real picture of what is going on. I get a lot of propaganda from friends (who voted for *) and occasionally wonder if I am being narrow-minded against this war. In my heart, I know I'm right, but the RW really hits hard and low when protecting their King.
I am from Iowa and I will be in Joe's corner, for sure. I will be thinking of you as I work for him.
Give your husband a "cyber hug" from me. Just know that when we complain about how this fiasco is unfolding and continuing in Iraq, it is the pResident we are upset with...the military is in our hearts and prayers. I am a true believer that by shaming us into supporting the troops, this pResident was able to delay the end...especially, since he couldn't figure out how to make it end and wanted to let it run until the Dems could figure it out. Well, Joe has a plan. That's one reason for my support...to get your husband and others back home where they belong.
Bless you all.

Trust me, I know that any comments about the war are not directed at the troops. Some people in the military and civilian sectors have definitely drank the kool-aid though, and will continue to listen to fools like Rush Limbaugh spout that by not supporting the war, people are not supporting the troops. Unfortunately for both my husband and I, his grandparents and my grandmother are among the ranks of Limbaugh listeners. UGH!
I'm in Kentucky and we have one of the dirtiest, low life Republican Senators around. I'll be registering to vote here in KY instead of voting absentee in the State of Washington so that I can lend support to Andrew Horne who will be running against Mitch McConnell.

to get folks to caucus for Biden! My favorite line (I wish I had a dollar every time I've used it) is : "So...you planning to caucus?"

Good. :) Keep it up. If we had any extra cash to spare I'd think about gassing up the van after Christmas and heading to Iowa for a few days to try to collect votes for Joe.

doing NOTHING. More of the same. PLEASE bring in a president whose first priority is bringing our troops home and has the plan to do it on DAY ONE.
And welcome to DU - we're THRILLED to have you here with us! :hi:
Love to you, your husband, and kids :grouphug:

Iowans home with their families. You know they're talking about the caucus.
This is the time for word-of-mouth to spread, and if this ad can fuel some living-room discussion...

in California. I wish that I could do something. I feel like I have absolutely no control over our future. I can only hope that the people in Iowa and NH realize the great opportunity we have. That's all I can do.
