Desperate Clinton: "We don't vote for advisers"
I added the word "desperate" to the headline as a public service to save time. Also, notice the gutter politics practiced by the AP by using her middle name in the article.

Clinton: Lists of Advisers Don't Make a Great President

PHILIP ELLIOTT
AP News
Dec 22, 2007 16:24 EST

Hillary Rodham Clinton said Saturday that even if rival Barack Obama's claim that he has more support from her husband's administration was true, the statement was "silly" because voters look at qualifications, not a candidate's brain trust.

"This is not a campaign between lists of advisers," Clinton told reporters in a packed diner. "This is a campaign between real people with experience and qualifications to become president on day one."

In Iowa on Friday, Obama suggested he had the support of more Clinton administration figures than the former first lady. Lists provided by both campaigns quickly showed hers is almost twice as large.

egregiously bullshit attack. I did today.Unlike you and your vituperative and seemingly bottomless attacks on Clinton. Here ya go, peaches:

"I'm not, as anyone here will tell you, a JE supporter, but
your post is bull. He doesn't own a mortgage company. He did have a lot of money invested in a hedge fund that had money in a sub-prime loan organization, and they did foreclose on homes in NOLA after Katrina. He's denied having known that. And furthermore, there's historical precedent for politicians of wealth standing up for the poor and middle class."

13. Just to be clear, her middle name is Diane.
As far as using HRC, she does that on her Senate website: http://clinton.senate.gov/

Your point about "desperate" is both amusing and accurate.

25. In my family.. when the women get married they either keep their
middle names or change their middle name to their maiden name.. My grandmother did this and my aunt did this.. My mother and I choose not too... I don't know why for my mother.. for me, I have a very masculine first name.. the middle is feminine.. helps assort the mail correctly. I'm not sure what my sister will choose.. her name is boderline as well, but I think more women have her name.. my father has no sons.. so she may choose to change her middle name to her maiden name... Did Clinton do this? Or did she Hiphenate? and who gives a shit.. its a fucking name.

28. Wikipedia lists all four names, but I can't vouch for its veracity.
I seem to recall seeing her listed somewhere else as "Hillary Diane Clinton", but I don't remember where that was. I have no idea if she legally changed her middle name to "Rodham" or not.

42. She didn't hyphenate her name, she just moved the Rodham to the middle
I don't know the legal status of Diane, though - she may have dropped it (as you state, that's a common practice), or she may be Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton.

are the 2 official places I know you can change your name.. the ss is most important to receive bennies.. but usually what's on the ss and marriag cert. is what the name that is on everything...

21. I thought she was using her middle name again.. Isn't that what she did
as Senator? And I do think its important to see who every candidate would like to pack into the room and that they would listen to... A president doesn't have time to dilly into each little detail.. More obvious in this monkeys admin... but advisors and cabinet members hold a ear and an advisement to the pres. They are acting as the most informed person on the issue in the room and are expected advise on those issues.. Is there no wonder asshat in chief doesn't know his head from his ass... I think they have held hostage all the remotes in the WhiteHouse and have an endless rotation of The Three Stooges playing for his eyes only.. I don't even think he knows how bad his presidency has been...

I wonder how good Pres. Clinton's advisors were.. are they good.. and should Obama even want them... Hope for Change with the old Clinton admin... that's not a new direction that's just turning another page of the same book.. new chapter.

Abraham Lincoln thought so. And no one thinks Bill Clinton devised his economic policies all by himself, do they?

However, being a First Lady doesn't make you qualified to be a great president. :-)

40. HRC is correct. The media did the same with bush as they are
doing with Obama saying he does not have to be the smartest person in the room becasue he is surrounded by advisors. Hell, it would be a good idea if we did have someone that was the smartest person in the room. HRC's aptitude trumps Obama in so many ways that as she said, be president from day one.

Obama the more he discusses policy is so lacking. We do not need on the job training with obama. we have had that now for 7 years and look where we are.
