Latest endorsement: The Grinch

People talk about Barack Obama's ability to reach even the most unlikely of supporters. Republicans, high school students, 99-year-old Iowans who have never caucused in their life. Well, now it's confirmed:
Even the Grinch is voting for Barack Obama.
OK, the Grinch's animator. Meet Tom Ray!
Tom was one of the five animators who created "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" back in 1966 (which was incidentally a favorite of Senator Obama's as a kid.) In addition to the Grinch, we can also thank Tom for being part of the team that brought us Daffy Duck, Tom & Jerry, Yogi Bear, and a smart-aleck, Brooklyn-type rabbit known to most of us by the name of Bugs.
Back in 2004, Tom recalls his wife Brenda was watching the DNC convention in 2004.
"Tom," she said, "you have to come and look at this."
He came and had a look. Barack had just begun his now famous DNC speech. "And I just fell in love with him -- like so many other people who watched that speech, and the many that have followed -- I was swept away."
Tom has never gotten involved with a Presidential campaign, but he says this one is different.
"I can't go another four years shaking my head," Tom says. "And no other candidate can hold a candle to Barack. He will simply make a wonderful President. He's balanced and likeable -- and sharp. That's what I like. He's sharp."
When Tom and his wife first got in touch with us, they asked, "Can anyone endorse Barack Obama?"
Well, yes they can! And we're proud to announce that Tom Ray endorses Barack Obama for President of the United States.
Happy holidays everyone...we hope you got in at least one viewing of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!"
And of course, please share your own endorsements in the comments below...
