Also got two e-mail Christmas greeting notes from one of his staunch supporters and each ended with "Marry Christmas". Spell check does not work here!

1. No, I got the 2008 Out of Office Countdown Calendar

Each of the 12 pages has an interesting photo of the dufus in chief, with a selected bushism at the top. And about half the dates has a bushism too. January 1 is countdown day 348.



I got the bushism calendar last year, if by that you mean the kind that consists of a pad of individual dates that you tear off and discard each day.

An attorney I work for always gets me the calendar and I place it on the shelf near my desk so folks coming and going can read the wit of our 43rd president. It just so happens that we represent the Denver Broncos in some stuff and one of the vice presidents of the Denver Broncos Football Club is Joe Ellis, the first cousin of Dubya and the brother of John Ellis, the Fox employee who called Florida for Bush in 2000. One day, Pat Bowlen, Joe Ellis and some other Broncos officials were meeting in the office. I was away from my desk; when I came back, Joe Ellis was flipping through the Bushism calendar. He didn't laugh, but I haven't been sent to Gitmo yet, either.

That calendar is great!
