Poll question: Last Minute Prediction: Who is going to win Iowa
We're merely days away from the Iowa Caucus. And that begs the question, who do DUer's believe HONESTLY will win the Iowa Caucus?

Not who you want to win. But who you think will win. Whether this will mean a win in New Hampshire and else where is up in the air, and up for debate. But who do you BELIEVE can and will win in Iowa in just about 7 days?

18. Yup, Edwards without a doubt
He's got many advantages over Obama and Clinton who will come in behind him in that order.

   Edwards '08 tees!

5. I'm guess it will be Edwards, Clinton, Obama, Biden
and the rest. If that's the case, who'll benefit most from the results?

6. Based on your predictions?
Edwards because he's able to continue his campaign.

And Clinton because she beat out Obama, and has stronger support in NH and Feb. 5th states than Edwards does. Despite the Iowa win.

That's just based on the results you posted as a prediction.

7. I think Obama will do it.
I support Kucinich, and Edwards among the possibles. But I think Obama will win in a close race. I hope Edwards comes in a close third -- or better, of course.

Imagine an Edwards win with Obama in second!

9. I want Obama to win, but I think Edwards will win
Almost all the intangibles work in his favors. This was always his race to lose. He almost did it, but I think he's pulled it out in the end.

11. I predict toss up between Obama and Edwards, then Hillary and Biden fighting for 3rd
It would be a very interesting result to see Biden in 3rd followed by Hillary.

I think Edwards is on the upswing.

12. I think Hillary will take it, by 5-8%
followed by Obama and then Edwards.

I wish it was Kucinich though...

14. Hillary and Obama will be essentially tied...1 or 2 points apart...
Probably with Hillary in the lead...

Edwards 8-10 points back and all but done

Biden with 15%...giving him enough momentum to keep going...

15. Wouldn't a "last minute" prediction better be left to the actual last minute?
Another poll. Wow, isn't that special?

16. Don't like it? Don't vote in it.
Too much bullshit on DU to let a poll make you whine.

27. Didn't vote, not whining, it's the only time I have posted that message.
You're right, there is way too much bullshit on DU which is why I have tended to stay away. I have worked where I had to shovel shit and after awhile you just get tired of it. DU--SOS, just a different day.

23. The second place vote thing looms huge...
Let's, for example, say Hillary had the majority of supporters in a precinct/ward... but 2nd and 3rd place outnumbered her significantly, but the 3rd candidate was not viable. It would depend on people's second choice.

I think that means ADVANTAGE Edwards. I can't see Hillary folks voting for Obama, or vice versa. I think Edwards will come out on top by a few %. It may be a hollow victory if it is so narrow though and the momentum doesn't carry into NH.

26. If I had to bet at this point, I'd say Hillary wins Iowa and Obama wins NH.
I realize mine is a minority view, but there it is.
