Strategic Vision's latest poll numbers for both parties
the one thing i noticed on the democratic side is everybody's campaign especially Clinton's is talking up the experience factor but according to this poll its the number three issue on dems mind when voting for a candidate. in fact charisma which hasn't been talked about at all is second with 30% compared to 21% for experience.Ideology is number one with 32% http://www.strategicvision.biz/political/iowa_poll_122807.htm

1. Should we really consider charisma ahead of experience?
Isn't that how we ended up with Bush? Who cares that he was a lifelong failure...I can see myself having a beer with the guy!

6. Tell that to Joe Average Voter.
He didn't get nearly half the votes in this country in '00 or '04 because of his experience.

4. Go spend some time in Nebraska and ask people there if they think that he is charismatic.
The responses will more than likely shock you.

8. And Obama/Edwards would be soooo CUTE in the WH.
Yeah, we really need to run another race for prom queen while making fun of the science/debate team nerds.

Isn't popularity the most important qualification for pResident?

:sarcasm:

9. Charisma is a shallow way of judging a candidate.
Charisma helps . Charisma is in the eye of the beholder.

Bush was both likeable and had charisma. I would say he
has not been my favorite president.

Charisma is a double edge sword. Many Americans are suspicious
of people with lots of charisma.
