"Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay" April 25th
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0481536/

Follows the cross-country adventures of the pot-smoking duo as they try to outrun authorities who suspect them of being terrorists when they try to sneak a bong on board their flight to Amsterdam.

Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay apparently picks up at the end of the first film. En route to Amsterdam, Harold and Kumar light a bong aboard their plane. Kumar, already being eyed by the other passengers due to his "terrorist" looks, and Harold are tackled by the passengers and sent to the Guantanamo Bay detention center.

They break out from Guantanamo and begin a series of strange encounters, including an inbred mutant, Neil Patrick Harris, yet another nude woman, a KKK rally (where they are mistaken for "Mexicans"), and George W. Bush's ranch house.

1. Is This Real?
Bush alarmism has really jumped the shark. It's become the butt of mass-market comedies.

First, you make them laugh. Then you make them disturbed. Then you make them ashamed. Then you win.

Go Harold and Kumar!

8. 'Surge'.....on annual list of banned words
DETROIT (AP) — Resist the urge to say you will "wordsmith" your list of New Year's resolutions rather than write one. And don't utter, "It is what it is" when you fail to meet your first goal.

Those are two of the 19 words or phrases that appear in Lake Superior State University's annual List of Words Banished from the Queen's English for Mis-Use, Over-Use and General Uselessness. The school in Michigan's Upper Peninsula released its 33rd list Monday, selecting from about 2,000 nominations.

Among this year's picks are "surge," the term for the troop buildup in Iraq. "Give me the old days, when it referenced storms and electrical power," Michael Raczko of Swanton, Ohio, said in nominating the word.

The list also included "waterboarding," "perfect storm," "under the bus" and "organic." Also: "It is what it is," which Jeffrey Skrenes of St. Paul, said "accomplishes the dual feat of adding nothing to the conversation while also being phonetically and thematically redundant."

9. 00:57 trailer
The "joke" about the plane crashing? Eh a little much for me but I get that it is about perceptions and such.

6. Neil Patric Harris has come "out" since the last movie
Edited on Thu Jan-03-08 07:02 PM by Marnieworld
But in the movie he was very heterosexual. I wonder how they will deal with that? I loved the first movie can't wait for the next. The guy who plays Kumar is soooooo funny.

They should have released in on 4-20 though.

7. If it's even half as good as "White Castle", that's pretty damn good.
I'd pay to see it.
