I really don't know how Liz keeps from crying. I wonder if Hillary will look forced too. I feel for the losers...not that they are really losers1

4. This is just one ef n state caucus. AND
if he had received 15% or less than he should be worried.

Better yet if he came in 5th maybe 4th or less than he should be worried.

10. Iowa has only been a factor since 1976
And the candidate with the most Iowa delegates did not win the nomination every time.

12. Bill Clinton only got 3% of Iowa in '92.
Tom Hayden got 37% of Iowa Dems that year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iowa_caucus#Democrats

I think this one is really too close to call. NH will sure be interesting to see.

14. Duh. My bad!
Edited on Thu Jan-03-08 11:31 PM by intheflow
I was reading something by Tom Hayden earlier today. But it also might be time for me to step away from the computer at this point--it's been a long day!

I also didn't realize Harkin had been the Iowa Senator. I wasn't the politcal junkie back then that I am now. This makes a lot more sense now. Thanks! :hi:

7. It's not over yet
Do you really think this one state will decide who will be president? Quite frankly I'm a bit tired of Obama's bi-partisan crap. That approach doesn't work and Obama apparently hasn't figured that out yet. The Repugs see in Obama someone they can pressure into doing their dirty work with the proper prodding. Edwards scares the hell out of the repugs, thats why they are playing up Obama. That and his center left theories.

When was the last time he got more than two hours sleep?

9. That's a good point.
Hillary up now! She's not looking happy either...neither is Bill.
Madeline A. looks like she is taking it pretty hard too. I didn't realize she was so emotionally involved. She's really loyal to the Clintons. I hope she congratulates Obama. Hillary is doing good. She's one tough lady!
