There is no doubt that John Edwards is a fine and just man. I am so proud of him. |
|
His speech was specifically for New Hampshire, and the millions and millions of people who have yet to cast a vote.
He has already moved on, and used the corporate TV air waves (for free if i may ad) to address the US of A.

4. He talked about health care, for one thing |
|
and the 47 million people who go to bed every night knowing that if they get injured or sick, they will have to go to the emergency room and beg for help.
Even though I'm supporting Obama, I have so much respect for Edwards and would proudly vote for him if he was the nominee.

I guess I shouldn't have been. You just never know what might happen. If Edwards wins NH, I'll be thrilled.

It's amazing how many people on DU realized what John Edwards was doing. Using the corporate MSM to make a point. He is amazing!

7. He talked about poverty, homeless vets, people without health care, women turned away from shelters |
|
It did exactly what it was supposed to do -- made me focus on the issues that, as he said, transcend politics. Fighting spirit indeed! Loved every moment of it... couldn't believe I was hearing a speech about big oil and insurance companies on CNN!

We're not supposed to discuss those issues here in the good ole US of A.
Seriously, good for him for using that time wisely. Almost makes me wish I watched US coverage just to have heard that and seen the pundits' reactions. Almost.
