Key to Obama's Win: Deval Patrick |
|
Patrick ran practically the same type of campaign (of hope) that led him to a resounding victory in New Hampshire that Obama is running now. If his election was any indicator, Obama is in VERY good shape.

2. Massachusetts, not NH, but yes, you are right. |
|
As many people from MA have moved to South NH these last few years, it is an important factor.

5. You're mixing up your candidates. Deval Patrick is the governor of Massachusetts. |

8. I remain unimpressed by Gov Patrick...he's very corporate...wants to bring casinos in... |
|
Same kind of smoke and mirrors BS that we get from Obama. But, later, its "welcome corporations". (Not that it was ever any different in this state; but I'm contrasting the rhetoric with the reality.)
So, I agree with you; and I don't like it.

I like the cut of your jib!
Patrick, like Obama, seems like a swell guy, but there were better choices then and there's better choices now. (Yes, I was part of the 3% that voted for Grace Ross...she was awesome! :) )

12. What's wrong with that? |
|
People who wish to gamble are going to gamble. If there are no casinos in your state, people will spend their money, and contribute taxes, to another.
I hardly see his position as a negative.

10. That's okay, New Hampshire is a suburb of Massachusetts |
|
Just kidding. I miss being up in New Hampshire. Four years ago this time, I was working 3 or 4 days a week in campaign offices in Nashua ... a 25 minute drive from my house in Massachusetts. Honestly, there is little difference between Mass. and southern N.H.--except they don't have any sales tax up there!
