Speaking of polls -- how are the general election hypotheticals looking?? |
|
I take polls with a heavy grain of salt and don't follow them closely, except what's posted here. Having said that, what are some not-too-unreliable sites for hypothetical matchups between specific Democrats and Republicans? (And what are they showing lately?)

1. surveyusa.com is a good site - but tends to poll on a state by |
|
state basis.
Last I looked, Edwards does better than anyone else. Just because he can win in more conservative places (for some unknown reason). Hillary can easily win NY and CA

I think you can use my link to see them... If someone randonly typed that address in I don't think they could get the results...

8. Yeah, I meant Obama vs. Huckabee, Clinton vs. McCain, etc... |
|
From what the surveyusa.com site says, both are looking really good against Republicans even in some surprising states!! (There's still a big undecided vote, though. I sure hope some wacko runs on a conservative third-party ticket.)

10. With any luck, Ron Paul could be that wacko |
|
He would siphon off hordes of right-wing libertarian lunatics. A few Democrats, too... against all odds... but more wingers.
If Ron Paul ran third party, I think he could pull 15-20% of the vote. There are that many libertarian nutjobs out there these days.
