2. No, I think it was honest...and she quickly went back to script... |
|
...by slamming the others two minutes later.
She should be real more often ~ give the script a rest.

3. She was in touch with real emotion, I think. |

The question that triggered the teary eyes was a sweet one about her own state of mind, how she was doing, how she could keep going, etc. BUT she was also absolutely in control, even with teary eyes. Actually, I believe that we women are better at dealing with strong feelings--and keeping our heads-- than men are. They tend to get thrown by unexpected surges of emotion. She demonstrated great strength AND real feeling in my opinion. That said, please know that she's not my first choice...Gore was...now Edwards, so I'm not speaking as a strong supporter. But I have been appalled at the way she's been treated and have real respect for her, even though I don't really believe 8 years as First Lady qualifies you for the Presidency. If she's the nominee, I'll certainly support her. I WISH to goodness we could hear detailed substantive discussion about policy from the perfumed mandarins and screaming fools who pretend to be journalists, instead of all this nasty nasty horse race commentary and goggle eyed stupidity, personal slurs and high school "cool kids" nonsense. Oh well. I dream.
