Tell me what this means...
I had a call tonight from very good friends of mine who are rock solid NH republicans...he was a state rep here in NH and very conservative. In spite of that, I love these very intelligent people. He called me and told me that he and his wife (who are registered Republicans) had taken the republican ballot today and had written in Hillary Clinton. He was wondering how their ballots got tallied. I didn't have an answer for that but I was stunned that these people crossed over. I joked with him about that and he said that they were just totally disgusted with GWB. I'll see her tomorrow and try to find out why they went to Hillary...but at this point, I can't figure that out.I'd appreciate any intelligent speculation anyone might have.

2. Let us know.

A Republican Aunt of mine outside of Pittsburgh is strongly supporting Hillary.
She does not like what the GOP has done to the nation. I know she will vote Republican if Obama or Edwards gets the nomination. She likes Hillary though. She believes that Clinton can make the right changes to put this country back on course.

Also, she voted for Rendell and Casey too.

4. I'm Reminded of JFK
From what I remember (I was seven years old), and what my parents have told me, a LOT of women voted for Jack Kennedy, and lied about it to their husbands. I don't recall it as a sexist or obvious thing -- like, "Jack is SO good looking." I remember it more as "I like JFK's politics, I just don't want YOUR FATHER to try to talk me out of it."

Hillary is apparently commanding an impressive loyalty from a lot of women, who may just be saying to themselves "It's TIME for a woman to be President." Like it trumps Republican loyalty.

Interesting.
